NRA Elections

Got my magazine and note that there are 25 spots of the board to be filled and the nominating committee has presented us with 28 names from which to choose.
I have written in myself: Gary F. LeGros, Jr. Jeanerette, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.
I solicit your vote.
Write my name in, mail the ballot and let's see what happens.
Or not.
The regulars know me from my posts. I'm not gonna campaign or list positions or otherwise stir the pot. If you want to write my name in, great. If you don't I'm good with that too.

Aren't there usually more folks than that vying for the open seats?

If anyone voting in the NRA election wants to improve the chances of a particular candidate (write-in or otherwise), only mark your ballot for that person, and that person only. It will greatly increase the impact of your ballot.

Sorry, it went out yesterday. Most of the folks are already on the board and just seeking to stay. I think I voted for about 20 names I recognized. I know it is a foolish motive but I voted for all females, they are the way forward in my opinion. Joe

I have completed the ballot with you as a write-in.
I only voted for two others: 1) Janet Nyce, who is somewhat local to me, a woman with credentials, and a life member of her local volunteer fire company (a position of pride in Pennsylvania), and 2) Dean Cain, who is, after all, Superman.
Let's take action and keep this one coming to the top for visibility.

I only voted for 10 other names after reading through the provided biographies.

Yes, there are five or so configurations of ballots. This is to prevent nominees from claiming that others had a more favorable position on the ballot. I think I read that on the ballot.

I've read the bios, but since they were all written by the candidates themselves I'm not sure that it tells me anything useful.

I want to know which ones (if any):

1) understand the difference between a right and a privilege.
2) are fiscally responsible.
