Today after a short family trip to Branson MO. we stopped on the way home at Bass Pro Shops in Springfield MO to pick up a few things I "Needed" and in the process finally toured the NRA National Sporting Arms Museum. If you are in the area I highly suggest a walk through(give yourself an hour at least) you won't be disappointed. Well unless you wanted to handle or shoot any of them.

Take the time to road trip, some really neat stuff in there, as well as history!

I stopped by the Bass Pro shop a week or two ago and toured the NRA collection. Very nice collection beautifully displayed. I even enjoyed the archery section.:D

I detoured there last April (2014) on the way back to Florida from Tulsa.
I was heading to Memphis first, so it wasn't that far out of the way.
It was most definitely worth it.
The firearms and the display are simply amazing.
I spent a couple of hours there.
If you are in the area, or passing by, do yourself a favor and check it out.
Next up, the NRA Museum in Virginia.
