NY Senators have filed petitions to repeal the new gun control law PLEASE SIGN!!!

Senator Marchione and Senator Larkin have started petitions.

I don't know how many signatures Larkin's has, but Marchione's has about 60,000 in just 48hours according to her facebook page. The media is low balling the actual count.

Actually it could hurt. I believe they only want NY residents to sign and if people sign it who are not from that state it could detract from its credibility. The NY legislature should not care what I think...they are responsible only to New Yorkers*. I would suggest only qualified New York residents sign that petition.

Imagine the fun a liberal paper could have pointing out the petition is full of "phony" signatures.

*(Actually, given their recent decision, how responsible they are to their own constituency could be debated, but that is a different issue)

I know this sounds negative, but which NY Senators support it, the 18 who voted against the Law or the 12 who voted with the Gov.

No offense to you Law Enforcement Officers I have the utmost respect for you and the job you do. Your state legislators have now made you the hammer to use to subdue a whole population and they have put you in a position of us versus them with once ordinary law abiding citizens. Soon you will be ordered to search homes and seize weapons and magazines from civilians that are taxpayers, mechanics, salesmen, secretaries, you know, just us ordinary citizens. Do you see how easy it was for them to just remove your rights from you without as so much as a debate or objection.

The politicians have been waiting for such an incident to subdue you and make you docile
so they can command you how to live your lives and the police will now be tasked to enforce those commands. Don't believe me, Nanny Bloomers has been running dry runs over the last year testing out and ordering, no big sugary drinks, salt or transfats your food just to see your reaction. Nanny gave a million dollars to your republican senators in one big fat check so it was a no wonder they rolled over on you without blinking an eye.

How would it be if all the gun owners in the state showed up in Albany and ordered the legislators and police to turn over their weapons because they are no longer fit to govern? The police would get their weapons back when the people believe their government was responsible enough to govern. The legislators would be on proabation and wouldn't be able to send their children to private schools. This is the way of our founders and how they would have done things.
