This was the birthday of my late father, who died 9 years ago yesterday. Today would have been Pop's 96th birthday.
I started texting this message to some of my cousins who as children spent a lot of time with Pop. I was telling stories and told them how he took me to a lot of gun shows when I was a little boy. With that the inspiration came and I told my cousins that in tribute to Pop I was going to go to the gun show in Gettysburg today.
The gun show looked a little skinnier than usual but I saw prices on things that started looking reasonable. I ended up buying 2 new spare magazines for my Model 41s, so it was a good show for me.
