Odd Remington 357 Lead Ammo

They look like a SWC and a round nose lead had a baby.

In 1976 I bought my first new handgun. It was a 6" model 28 and it was brand new. I had worked extra all summer working for a contractor and doing odd jobs to save up the extra coin to buy the gun. It was $125. I had enough to also get two boxes of ammo and a used Hunter holster that the LGS had kicking around the shop. The ammo was the 158 grain Remington SWC that this thread is talking about. It's hard to look at them and not remember the feeling I had when I walked out of the shop with my new S&W. I have purchased a lot of high value things since then, cars, houses, wives, but I don't think I ever felt as much satisfaction as I did then. I still have the gun, by the way and I'm still scrubbing out the lead from those two boxes of ammo!
