got tracking for 6 boxes from cabelas m22 orders Thursday, nice score
How did you get 6?
Just go to Walmart people! This talk of .18+ per round for freaking 22 lr is insane. I walked out of Walmart yesterday with 8,000 rounds at just about .5 per round. Stop buying like you're preparing for North Korea to invade and we won't have this problem anymore. Go online......check when Walmart is getting it......and purchase. It's that simple.
Sorry I didn't clarify that.....my girlfriend and I combined to purchase 8,000 rounds. Yes they do enforce the 3 box limit so we made a trip together and then later in the day I was passing another Walmart so I stopped in there and got 3 more. If you go on the Walmart site it will show in stock. I purchased all of the m-22 and within an hour it changed to oos. Today they had 2 more boxes but the ******* manager bought them to flip for a profit. They even had two colt ar's in stock. If it wasn't for people panic buying ammo at 4x the cost and firearms for 2x the cost we would not be here right now. You guys have to stop buying at inflated prices or this cycle of low supply and high prices will never stop. The world is not ending and the evil socialists are not coming for your guns except in a few nutty states. Relax, and think rationally about this situation! And go to your damn Walmart! Ammo is about the only reason to go there but until things improve everywhere else that's where I'll shop.
If only you had a clue about what you're talking about.
I don't stash it away. I run down to my last box and then buy more. I hardly shoot during winter but now that its getting nice out I'll be out weekly with friends. For example today I'm probably going to go through 1000 with my gf. Next weekend a friend from work interested in getting into shooting wants to go out as well so there's another 1000 at least. My 8000 will hold me over a few months easy. The only reason I picked up more than I need this weekend is because Walmart is now the only location I can buy thanks to the tin foil hat crew that over and over again drives up prices on the products they want by panic buying in large numbers.
I don't have access to resources that any of you are off limits to. I just chose not to over pay for plinking ammo and shop exclusively at retailers that sell at fair prices.
I have some ammo in stock. I came into a financial pinch, and need to get rid of 6 federal 525 value packs. I was just wanting to know if it was a problem contacting people through this site?
I have to wonder how long the ammo shortage would last if the self centered bozos that are buying all the ammo a store has in stock would only buy the ammo they need for the next month. When there was the last hoarding attack 3 or 4 years ago, the result was the price of ammo went up then suddenly there was ammo everywhere. Supply and demand, create an artificial shortage, the price goes up and the wierdos come out of the woodwork buy up all the existing stock, driving up the price even more, creating panic buying then get a ridiculous rumor going that the government is going confiscate all your guns and ammo. At my last gun club meeting I heard that all the ammo manufacturing capacity is being shipped direct to Kansas for storage in Government salt mine caves. The oil companies have used this same marketing scheme for years, an oil field roughneck wakes up with a hemorrhoid attack, can't get to work thus creating an oil shortage because the roughneck wasn't available to stack pipe sections that shuts down the well. Refineries and terminals slow down, public outcry calls for dipping into the oil reserves, prices at the pump climb to over $4.00 a gallon from $3.05 in two weeks. Eventually the hemorrhoids heal, the roughneck goes back to work, refineries and terminals reopen and there is plenty of gas, only now the gas is $3.75 and never goes lower. So the next time you are in Walmart and they have five bricks of .22 lr on the shelf, buy only one and leave the rest for your fellow shooter. Otherwise, when the price of ammo goes up and stays there, it is your fault![]()
