there is a frase for what you and the others who are doing what your doing...."price gouging". there is no reason for these prices, just because some people will pay these prices does not mean we should all have to. being an older wiser gentlman you should really think anout what your doing and saying.

i want to take my daughter out for day of shooting and i cant without spend a ton of money.

PM me your address and I'll send you 200 rounds at my cost plus shipping...even give you a choice of brand as much as I can. You are really making my point you know. If you want something during an economic dislocation, you can find it, it's just a matter of price. My price for daughters is cost. You'll be pleased.

If you keep an eye out here you can find some ok deals, but most of the time you will pay high premium. If you get stuck, after my class next week id could sell u a little at my cost plus shipping. Dont want to see any dad miss out time on the range with there little girl.

FAIR WARNING:

Hey guys,

This thread is to help folks find in stock .22lr ammo. I've posted several times in this thread asking for folks to knock off the bickering and to stay on topic.

From now on... posts ranting about gouging and hoarding, government, supply and demand lessons, bickering or general unrelated topic antagonizing chatter will result in a Off Topic Warning and points. Too many points and you lose access to the Forum.

Pertinent questions and answers, thanking folks for help scoring ammo and that kind of stuff is just fine. However, if your post looks anything like the below... don't hit the send button.

For general discussion not related to the 15-22 and accessories, please feel free to visit The Lounge http://smith-wessonforum.com/lounge/

Do Not Reply to this. Just stay on topic and help folks find ammo!

Cheers

You and others like you cause this problem. You can call it whatever you want, its simply taking advantage of people, very simaler to the guys around here selling 13 dollar sheets of plywood for 100 bucks a sheet during the huricanes, ohhh people bought it, but its still taking advantage of the sittuation, and people in general. In fact alot of those guys went right where they belong Johnny Polk Corrections JAIL. I really feel bad for your children and what your teaching them threw your actions...

We are used to paying 3-4 cents per round. Now it is much more. No one can say where it is going. Will it stabilize at 8 cents? 14 cents? More? Things are in play here we don't know. If you "need" to shoot it is available at a price. That is capitalism. Those that "insist" it be at a certain price sound a bit strange don't you think?

Dude just shut up and go troll somewhere else. You aren't helping anyone. Without crooks like you, more of us would be able to find ammo on the shelves at decent prices. Now go away so we can get back to helping ech other find ammo..,[/QUOTE]

you get called out and now you are willing to sell to the dad/daughter crowd? Really! This is the reason I am done with this thread. FYI, My rant over this just got deleted in the lounge. If I get banned, then it has been awesome to share with you all. "All for one and One for all"

You are an @ss!!

This guy only had 3 posts and all within the ammo thread. Do you REALLY think he will stick around after all this is over? He wasn't here before, chances are he won't be here after.

I agree with you completely. If folks need ammo for training with their sons or daughters, I would not refuse as much as I am able. What I dislike is the idea that if a economic dislocation occurs (as we are currently in), making ammo available at different prices in different ways is bad. That my friend is called capitalism. We are in this mess because of attacks on capitalism. Those that scream about the "gougers" are no different than those that demand "redistribution". It may hurt to realize that but it's the truth. As I posted earlier to a member "my price for daughters is cost plus shipping".

This guy isn't a member of the the "family". Looking to make money. (2 posts?)

I expect this from the scum bag websites run by greedy people.. but a 60 year old man should know better!! And thats from a 40 year old man! And i love the story how you feel so bad for the gun culture as you bend me over with out even a kiss, i think im speaking for all here when i say "please dont return here" the people on this site are like a big family, looking out for one another. And i know they've got my 6, because they already saved me with a very important safty class im teaching to boy scouts and there parents, for free even the ammo there shooting out of my 22s! Im doing this for one reason, i love the shooting sports, and want to share that experience with as many non shooters as possible, even at my own cost. And i live off disability!

sounds like the seller is trying to find justification for being a jack***. Tired of seeing these kind of posts! I think we, as intelligent humans understand the concept of free-market and supply/demand. However, they are not hurting the average joe like the oil companies, they are predating on their own. Maybe this is the Zombie Apocalypse we have been told about! Maybe we should just start ignoring these posts. Maybe they will get the picture.

@ $.50 per rd!!!

Just hang on, There are a lot of people even here who are buying to sell on GB and rape others. Stock is catching up and I am seeing things loosen up every day a bit more. Three weeks ago I could not find a thing. Now I am seeing guns and ammo come in spotty but coming in. I live in South West Florida and even with all the old farts here buying up everything that comes in I am still seeing some things available. 1 Bushmaster and a few Ruger 10/22s. Yes they sold out fast but still coming in. I will not pay the rape prices to the gougers, let them choke on their stock. When stock catches up and these people see they are going to sit on their pile they will start to slash their prices and it will be a free for all. LOL. Just be a bit more patient. Factorys took some time to catch up to the demand, I just got notice that Midway usa got in a batch of Hotlips mags. I bought two at 18 bucks each. Just do due diligence and keep and eye out and you will find buys. I have bought a lot of ammo at Walmart in the past couple of weeks. Sold some to people who could not wait at the high price, but only because they asked for some. One guy bought an AR for 2000 and wanted to put a few down range. 75 bucks for 80 rounds. I told him I did not want to sell but if he needed some I would sell for the going rate. He jumped on it. Oh well what do they say a fool and his money? Or a WB said when a man with experience meets a man with money the man with experience leaves a man with both

The guy is a troll. Ignore him. I could say I just bought a railcar full of .22LF to put on GB.

 This post gives me gas!!!

Pleas post your seller name on Gunbroker so we make sure we don't buy anything from you.

What would your father say about you taking advantage of American Riflemen and women, for proffit??? You make me sick! My families faught in every war this countries had since the start. And died mind you, my father did 3 tours in south east vietnam, so you have the freedom to take advantage of gun owners! Cheeze man are u on the presidents gun grabber party or what?? David Ohhh and no advertising jerk off!!

I do wonder, what if another tragedy such as Sandy Hook happens and the media harps on it....what would happen to the ammo supply then? What would happen to the demand? Having some on hand wouldn't be such a bad idea.

Back to finding sales to post here.

Just scored 2350 rds win 36 grns...from LAX due to gunbot,,and 500 cci select earlier today from midway....my stockpile is 30,000 + rds most of which is going to Gunbroker....Flame away, but the guys who are buying it, like many here can't get it anywhere and they want to shoot. Ask the guy who drove 45 miles last night to buy 1950 rds fed automatch paying 14.5 cents a round and happy to do it. They are willing to pay the going rate. It's an economic dislocation and that is always where profits are to made. That's the beauty of free enterprise. Supply and Demand deciding what is a fair price.

This particular "economic dislocation" is no accident. And there are many more in many other areas to come. Get used to it. If you haven't been prepping you're done. Sorry to go off topic, but that's what driving this at it root. Many of you know what I mean. I am 60 and the saddest thing I have ever heard in my life was my wife saying, "thank God your father (who was a WWII Bataan Death March Veteran) isn't alive to see this." (meaning the state of the country). What the hell am I going to say to him when we meet up again?

So to those who are discouraged, if you are really fast on the net and keep up with it you'll get ammo. Those that are tired of the Wally World run around or server time outs....can go to gun broker. Thank God we still have some free market choice left.

Keep the faith

Academy sports in concord and kannapolis North carolina opened today. 1 box per caliber per day. I scored some Blazer .22lr,9mm,5.56. I was told they have enought ammo to limit each day for a few weeks. They also have 15-22's in stock.

Went to Gander mountain today, and FYI I believe every Friday for the whole corporation is truck day. Back to point, they had .22 LR Federal Gold Medal UltraMatch available.. but it was 24.95 I believe here in Indiana, I didnt get any personally, a little to steep for me for .22 but I sure did eat up there 7.62x54r brown bear ammo :D no 2 box reserve on that woo!

GM here is Thursday Morning. Had a nice score this week.

Question, Rock Island Armory in the Phillipeens also has there own line of ammo including 22lr. I watched a show on the sportsman channel showing there hole plant, looked amazing. They make the brass in the Phillipeens and send it to the US for primer injection and powder and bullets. Its named something other than Rock Island. But it looks like CCI or LAPUA Quality. Anyone know the name?? And where we can aquire some??

Same here. I get a lot of .223 from wallyworld & ship it to my brother in Philly, once I got 3 boxes of federal 22lr bulk pack.

Just a somewhat similar post here.... Today I went to Cheaper Than Dirt Guns in McKinney, Texas. They have ammo coming out of their ammo. HOWEVER. All of the ammo is priced to the hilt. I paid up for some and let most of it stay on the shelf. i.e. I bought a box of Remington Golden bullet bulk pack 525ct. for $79 + WAY too expensive I know but....
Hope this helps out anyone in the North Texas area looking for ammo of all types.

I was wondering if anyone has ordered any ammo from Code 3 Tactical Supply and how was the experience. I can't help but be skeptical when viewing their website.
