My J& G Sales order from last Mon has arrived.

3 bricks of the Centurion ammo (max allowed to spread the shipments - fine by me).
Cost: ordered - 6cents/round, shipped - 7cents/round. Price below breaks down to 14cents/round prior to shipping. Thats why there are still 18 lots out there waiting for the unwary. Be warned as mudman21 stated...

Guys - It's stupid expensive but available none the less!

5000 Rounds of Discount 40gr LRN .22 LR Ammo For Sale by Centurion

Seems to be made in Mexico by same company that makes Aguila. Has same packing and has "A" marking on cartridge. (Aguila was highly reccommended by a friend on the range for accuracy on his AR15-22).
Hope others on here scored as well.

It is still there. 16 5000rd cases available. .14c/rd If you don't have any then you may want to get it. Otherwise pass it up.

I wonder if ammoforsale.com and lucky gunner are related somehow? I just noticed they have exactly the same items in stock and same prices for .40, 45 and 223. Different quantity's in stock but everything else is the same. Just thinking one sells out of something it might pay to check the other.

Happy hunting everyone.

Not sure if its policy at all Cabela's but if you call a store asking about ammo in stock, they will read off a script about how they can't tell you over the phone.

When I called my local Cabela's in late January, the call went directly to the Nebraska call center. The person I talked to said that I would have to go to the local store to find out if ammo was available. She wasn't going to transfer my call to the local store until I mentioned that a round trip to my local Cabela's was over 135 miles -- only then to find out that no ammo was available.

After I was finally transferred to the local store, the guy I talked to didn't seem to be reading from a script. We chatted for a short while and the conversation was casual. He said that the "well was bone dry". That, ammo could be on the next truck, he didn't know, because they weren't telling him anything and was at the mercy of the warehouse. Haven't called Cabela's to reach a local store since that time, so I don't know has changed, but that was my experience.

If you want to find out if your local Cabela's has stock and find that the Nebraska call center won't transfer the call to your local store, tell them it's a hardship to get there and maybe they will transfer the call.

Cabela's

I had the same experience with Cabela's. They would tell me nothing over the phone, even after I told them the nearest store was more than I was willing to go without knowing. My local Gander Mountain has been getting rounds on Wednesday of each week, but has been sold out before end of the day. I'll be there when they open this week and see if I can get lucky.

Better plan on getting there an hour or so early. Most places have lines 20-30 deep before opening.

good price

Eley Match .22lr Ammunition

A bit op, but in stock for those of you like me with 0 stock

for what it is - Match Grade, it is well priced. This is for the shooters that weigh every round, measure rim thickness for every round and buy everything by lots. It is not intended for the casual plinker/shooter. if you buy this, you measure your groups in .00's.
