The inventory system can be stubborn and not update correctly. Only after repeated calls to Walmart HQ did the store I went to finally get their stock updated properly.
On a side note: It appears that some Walmart stores are receiving more ammo then others. It isn't that the Walmart app is better at showing availability, it's the area that's better. I seriously doubt that the app is using a different inventory system.

Been showing In Stock since yesterday but actually OOS

I just registered because I wanted to say thanks for the heads-up on the Walmart app, though I will probably stick around.
Been looking for non-price gouging .22 ammo for awhile now. I always end up late to the party. lol
Read the info about the app last night at work, downloaded it, and lo and behold, my store said in stock. Got off of work at 630 this morning and headed straight over there. At 715 I finally found someone willing to check the truck, and no dice. A bit disappointed, I was walking away when the Sporting Goods guy came to his section with a cart full of various ammo. He asked me if I am the one asking for .22.
Why yes I am!
And I got my 3 boxes! Yay!
It is Remington 225 round box for $10.
It works for me, and is 775 rounds that I did not have before.

Yep did an order for the cci and 3 boxes of 9mm. all 4 were in stock, but checked my account an hour later and it showed backordered.
Went ahead and cancelled the order and the order for the CCI swamp people that had been on backorder since 1st of feburary.
Scored 2 boxes of Blazer bulk at my local range yesterday at slightly higher than i like price, so i should be good.
Now to start on 9mm.

When they have a limit of one online I was able to call it in to cabelas and they let me do 5 boxes and also a store pick up. They are also able to pull real time stock and let you know over the phone if they have it for you right there to ship or pick up from store in 5-7 days. A little tip for everyone on ordering from cabelas as I have learned from my father working at cabelas.
