Funny how I was just reading the golden bullet thread and then found these at Cabelas:
Remington® .22 LR Rimfire Ammunition : Cabela's
525 pack for 24, so less than 5 cent a round if you ship to store
Their ad reads as in stock, but when I try to add a box to my cart I get "The following item is out of stock and not available for purchase at this time".![]()
Nice they let you order 10 boxes at a clip so with shipping it is .07/ round which is very reasonable![]()
But is Winchester 333 packs any good?
Oh man, I think you have to be an internet-ninja to get an order thru on Natchezss.com I've seen stock there the past two days at different points in the day, it doesn't last long enough for me to fill my cart, enter a CC number, and press Order. By the time I do, I get an error that says OOS.
Kudos to those with badger-like reflexes.
Well those round with shipping were only .05 cents so we will see. I have shot SuperX before and they were great so hopefully there won't be much of a difference. Guess I will know when they arrive![]()
They were 6.4c per round for me. .05 cents is 5/100ths of a cent![]()
I like it simple $1.00 is one dollar, and this is One dollar 5 cents $1.05. I paid the .05 Cents. Gun Bot does it the same way.
Here: GunBot find 22lr ammo in stock![]()
I think we are being a little too technicalNext time I will just say 5 cents
$1.00 is one dollar. $0.05 is 5 cents. .05 cents is 5/100th of a cent. Do you understand the difference?
And GunBot lists pricing as $0.05/rnd which is 5 cents per round.
EDIT: Ok![]()
Of course I get the difference....... Didn't really think it was necessary to put the dollar sign. Figured most people would know it was 5cents, but then there is one in every crowd. We aren't micing and engine where we need to put .003 for 3thousands, were talking bullets dude and I don't think I confused anyone with my speed typing either.
is anyone posting or is thread closed
Hey Transam,
I'm watching no less than six sites every day, 10hrs/day, waiting for a chance to contribute before the site is OOS.
And Yes, folks are still posting. To which I'm hopeful of getting lucky one of these times for a few bricks less than 10c/round including shipping
If anyone can tell me that a $50 brick + $20 shipping is a good price and fair, I think we can find that deal somewhat readily on any of the big 5 stores at any point.
But if not, I think this thread still has great relevance for a great many people.
To those contributing, Thank You!
And Please, no need to reply to this, otherwise, the Admins are going to shut it down for being off-topic. TY!
Just wanted to post up a little story I got....just be patient guys...
I think paying more than 10 cents a round for .22lr is crazy!
I live here in Houston, TX and like everyone else have not been able to get a hold of ammo for a while... Like going close to year.... I'm not going to get gouged by one of these dealers.... I refuse to...
Well... I was at the mall with my son and his friend after a baseball game. They wanted to check out the hat and shoe store... Ok... Cool.. Let's go.
We walked around the mall and I saw a Bass Pro shops there.... Let's go take a look around... Do some window shopping... I just wanted to see if they had any AR's in stock.... Was about to leave and noticed an employee stocking up some ammo on the shelves.... Some .45acp and 9mm... Wow...cool... Then I saw them! 4 boxes of 375rd of Federal .22lr! I asked the guy "These for sale? " He said "yes!". I asked "How much?" He said "$17.99 a box".... OMG! Finally! With tax that comes out to 5 cents a round! I bought three boxes just so somebody else could get one.
The ammo is coming back. I understand if you just got to have some ammo and/or rich and don't care about pricing.....but for those of us that have a budget, just have some faith and patience! Ammo will come!
if they put 4000 boxes on the shelf, we will know ammo is coming back. But for only 4 boxes? hmm....
What we are trying to accomplish in this thread is to locate In Stock .22LR. Thousands of viewers use this thread as a resource.
Ed and others, please have the courtesy to stop cluttering up this thread so that the readership doesn't have to wade through so much chatter.
