OFFICIAL Using Wal-Mart App/Website

Local WM had 50 and 100 federal 9mm yesterday AM.

Bought 2 100 round boxes and left the rest.

It never ceases to amaze me the outright greed some people exhibit.
My ex father in law was that way.
.....sooner or later they find an excuse why it's your turn to get screwed.

I have to say the app worked really well for me today figured I would go on a Walmart ammo run today since I was running low in 9mm and 223. Followed app was able to pickup three boxes of Fed 223 value packs from one Walmart. Three 100 round Fed 9mm value packs from another Walmart.and three of the Fed auto match 22lr 325 round bricks score!

Scored 9mm and 380 at two different WM today driving thru Oklahoma. If I wanted to take detours there was lots more available. App works great for me.

Supposedly there's Winchester .22LR sleeve(s) at New Tazewell, TN right now. I would bet $20 if somebody close to Claiborne Co. were to go in, they would be told the website's never right and that the store puts out all they get at 7am and it's gone 15 minutes later. Then the sporting goods associate, CSM and management will refuse to look in the secured area. Given that, the $20 bet would be a money-making proposition for me and I therefore won't offer it.

App in East TN: Waste of time.

What 380? None that shows up on the app is carried by my store.

Ok Cokeman, you got me! I went for the 9 but I called each store first and they told me about the 380. WWB does not show up but neither does Rem UMC boxes of 250 in 9 or 40 but it does in 45 so it's confusing. When they have something I want I call or just go if I'm close and see what else they have. Sorry for the confusion.

Doesnt it make ya feel good, supporting a business that just got fined over 80 million dollars for dumping toxic waste down their store drains!

Rock on! you thrifty spenders.:p

Chuck

The app says the East Towne store (Knoxville 37924) has .22LR Federal Auto Match 325s right now, but the hired help says they haven't seen a box of that in months.

Another app fail.

But on a positive note, the app says the store has Federal 50s, too. Shift manager checked the secure area and that bug is supposed to have been fixed.

Upshot: I'm done with the app. All you can do in East TN for .22s from Wal Mart is pick a store, be in line at 7am and hope for the best.

Every time I see availability, I call, the response so far has always been; "no, none in stock".

I'm not driving all over hill and dale just to be turned away.

I'm very certain the ammo from Wally deliveries goes like this:
A) Truck with ammo arrives at back of store.
B) Ammo goes from delivery truck to the trunk of an employee (or employee's flunky's) vehicle.
C) Ends up on GB at a 50% markup.

What we are seeing now is beyond free-market. This is a black market.

Does anyone have a picture of the Rem UMC 250 ct 9mm box? The bar code scanner has been working for the 9mm that isnt Federal. I think that is the only bar code I do not have.

I've scanned with their app and it says it does not exist. What's up with that?
