To bring your discussion of ... whatever ... back to the topic of this thread, the Seattle "story" keeps getting better.

Now Fox is getting called out not just for alarmist reporting, but actually manipulating images.

On their website they used a May 30 photo of the Minneapolis fire for their Seattle headline on June 11, because of course nothing like that happened in Seattle.

They also posted a photo of an armed guy blatantly photoshopped into a composite, probably because they couldn't find another real one.

This is the stuff you are falling for. The sky isn't falling.

Worst. Photoshop. Ever.

Here's a news clip. It doesn't look quite as bad as some are reporting. My question: how is allowing this any different than giving in to a toddler who's throwing a tantrum?[ame]https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TK68ffBF9IM[/ame]

i wish i was close enow to get there.
i bet it's a fun party.
that's all it is, you know.

This is about as ridiculous as it gets.

Do you honestly think a 10-year-old autistic child CAN'T spread the virus? I'll agree that calling the police may have been an over-reaction, but I wasn't there and don't know the facts so it's also possible that the Karen who brought him into the restaurant was less concerned about everyone else's safety and more about her chicken dinner and two sides.

Could the restaurant's employees have handled it better? Maybe, but couldn't the parents also have tried to consider an alternate solution and gone through the drive-thru window? The world may never know...

Not that it will matter to you, but here's a local news report. Mother wore her mask, disabled son cant, car broke down, 91 degrees outside, a mother seeking a safe place for her disabled son as they wait for a tow. Thank God the police officer called to the scene by the citizen stasi took a break from being harassed and assaulted by the peaceful protesters long enough to bring this mother and disabled child home.

From your original post:

"A Pennsylvania Boston Market employee called the police on a customer's 10-year-old autistic child on Wednesday, because he wasn't wearing a coronavirus face mask."

Yup, how dare these radicals refuse to submit to the authoritarians and wear a bandanna in Walmart."

Well then it's a good thing you posted the story and came across with some facts instead of just, you know, an inflammatory headline and an assumption...

This whole CHAZ thing, IMHO, is the most unusual case ever of reasonably sane forum members looking at what's going on there and coming to two diametrically opposite conclusions about it being something good vs. bad. :p It's kind of a shocker to hideously old, patriotic, conservative me.

I guess I should try to get out more often. :)

As well you should ... just as soon as everything opens back up from the Kung Flu.

Quick, effective, and permanent fix to this problem: 00 buckshot, massed volley fire, from 50 yards. Three volleys should be more than adequate to get the job done.
