At a local gunshow recently I was in a trading mood and came across a very nice (almost perfect)2 1/2" Model 19-6. I was already feeling a little good about a previous deal I'd made and decided to do a swap using my 3" Ruger Sp101. So, as usual, I took a little beating on the Ruger and took home the Smith by by gosh I was holding a 19 again! I've let 2 other snubbie 19's go in the past and regretted both decisions. Since then I've had to brush past the nice looking 19's on this forum, looking at them made my heart hurt a little bit. I've even saved pictures that I came across just because the handsome little 19 is so picturesque. So, now I've got 525.00 invested in this one and even though I thought that was a little high I'm OK with it. And I promise to keep this one....really I do......
It's an illness isn't it.
BTW, I took off the silly Uncle Mikes grips and stuck Hogue Bantams on it, and I picked up a Bianchi 7 Shadow. I also put a Wilson Combat spring kit in it....half the fun is trickin 'em out!
