Two great guns and posting the end labels helps a lot in identifying exactly what you have.
The M657 was a Stocking Dealer Special, according to the SCoSW.
It's likely a -4. Is it? Yours is the first one I've ever seen, so I don't think they were made in large numbers. Maybe a few hundred. The date code on your box is for September 8, 1998.

The M625 is a -6 in .45 Colt. I've have ten of these in my s/n collection with s/n prefix of: CAN, CAP, CAS, CAT, CAU, and CAY. They were all made in the first three months of 1996. The date code on your box is for January 29, 1996.
They went back into production in 2001 as a -7. I've only seen two of those both with a CER s/n.
Something I read said there were 1,000 made, but I don't know if that was for the first run, the second run, or both. I suspect it was for the second because I've seen so many of the -6 guns (ten) it's hard for me to think there was only 1,000.

I have seen nothing to say either one was a Lew Horton Special, but it's possible. If you call LH's 800 number they will confirm if it was one of their's and send you a nice letter.
