71 this month, and left handed. Tried several of my DA revolvers several weeks ago, and was unable to pull the trigger in DA!
Single action yes, and right handed DA, is fine? See a Physical Rehab specialist on the 17th .
Luckily the pistols are functioning fine with my left finger! Old age is definitely interesting!!

At 71 myself, I can honestly say that I still can do anything I did when I was 20. Of course, it takes a little longer to get it done and I am sore afterwards.

Also, all of my parts still work. Of course, some of them take a little longer to work and they are sore afterwards.

I think most of us on this site are suffering from the old age aches and pain bug. At 76 I am young by some standards and old by others. I still hunt, fish, trap, and do my lawn work, still turn a wrench on my trucks, and camp. After engaging in any activities I know that I'll be stiff and sore afterwards, that the nature of beast.

I no longer climb on the house to do roof work, having had work on spine and back several times I no longer do any type of heavy lifting or snow shoveling (All my vehicles are 4x4 for this reason).

Some of these old age twists aren't all that interesting. If you consider the inevitable reality that once a little something gets started it WILL get worse, some twists are downright scary.

The key to aging gracefully is to get the most you can out of every day and at all costs keep your sense of humor. These days I try to see the funny side of every thing. Not always successful but I do try.

Yes, old age has its undesirable aspects-until you consider the alternative.
In my case, a few aches and pains, nothing that muscle rub and Ibuprofen and an ice pack now and then can't take care of. Everything else works fine. I was one of those squares, no drink, no drugs, no tobacco. Now I am reaping what I sowed.

Anyone that makes it long enough to collect the SS checks should be considered a blessing. My best bro just found out he has bladder cancer a mere 4 months before he can start to collect his..... count your blessings every day...life is fragile...the golden years with good health have been priceless to me... even though I call myself senile *** for my forgetfullness.
