Have been to this site a few times to read items but never registered. Been carrying a S&W from the time they issued me my first model 19 in 1978 (carried a Colt Trooper or 1911A1 before that). I consider a S&W revolver (fond of three-inch barrels) the best I would ever want, having a few. Been through a few S&W autos and gave my daughter the 4006 I was given at retirement (was out of uniform last 5 years but they would not let me keep the SIG 229).

Welcome to the club. You could tell us a little more about the revolvers in the collection you pictured.

The top left is my 3in model 629 .44 Mag.
The second left is a 3 in model 66 .357Mag.
The bottom left is a WV 2.5 in 686 custom shop .357 Mag.
The top right is a 3in model 60 .357 Mag.
The second right is a model 60 .38 SPL (lost in the divorce)
The bottom right is a model 351pd .22 MAG
All of these are on top of a: Botton layer- Escape and evasion chart for Afghanistan.
Famed paper is a British Blood Chit with a British Weapons Intelligence Team Poker Chip on top of it.

Welcome!

Welcome to writing reader! From another mostly reader.

Some beautiful old S&W revolvers you have in that pic.

Welcome aboard from coastal North Carolina.

Nice collection of S&W revolvers. I carried a model 15 and a model 19 on the job for 33 years. I'm still a brand loyalist.

I have a couple of Walther handguns, but S&W and Walther were kissing cousins for a few years.

Enjoy!
