I have some early 1950's American Rifleman magazines. Since they smell musty they are regulated to the garage (by she-who-must-be-obeyed). Our garage is dry not damp and warm (Fla.). Have tried placing them in sealed tubs with baking soda to absorb the mustiness and no luck. Tried putting them in the freezer and no luck. A while back I tried some dryer sheets and it has seemed to help. So the other day I stopped by Dollar General and bought a couple of boxes of their cheapest dryer sheets. I put them every ten pages of so. Got my fingers crossed. Have any of the Forum Members crossed this bridge? And if so what method did you use that worked?
