I went to Green Top guns today for their big S&W sale. I’ve been looking for a model 69, so I figured I might score one. Well the sale was only on certain guns with the 69 not being one. I took one last look in the used case and there I spied a Smith on the bottom, back with the tag turned down. I asked to see it and as luck would have it, it was a 69. $750. I always ask for a discount. At first no discount then a 5% discount. That was enough to pay all but $5 of the tax. I said let’s do it. That’s about $250-$300 off of the new price. I think better than a sale, even if it was 20%. It is in absolutely great condition. Not a mark on it and no powder burn on the cylinder. I will be taking it to the range on Friday.

I really need to get the snub version of this firearm. I must say, the 69 has the best barrel marking of the line up, in my opinion. Discreet and to the point.
