In a house!
Passing the local Gander today somebody left a brick of 40 grain Federal .22 in the road. Probably fell off the vehicle. I went in and asked the clerk of anyone had bought ammo in the last ten minutes but she couldn't recall. Finders Keepers! But at least I tried to return it to it's rightful owner.

It's mine.:D I'll send you my address so you can send it to me!!!;)

See. Here's a great example of why they should be putting serial numbers on ammo and registering it when it's sold. That way you could have got it back to the rightful owner.

I've yet to see a brick of .22's that could be dropped from 3-6 feet off the ground with any sort of forward velocity that wouldn't bust open like an egg and scatter the contents all over the road.

Sounds like you've done that more than once. Gentlemen, I think we've found the cause for the 22 ammo shortage.:D

The one time it happened was when the plastic bag ripped in the parking lot. I looked like I was doing an oil change crawling under the car to make sure that every cartridge went home with me.

UPS managed to break open a brick and a couple of single boxes of high end target ammo from Midway a couple of years ago. You could track out the driver by following the brass from his truck to my house.
