I had a 4" 686 (dash 2 I think) and a 2.5" 686 No dash. Sold them both and wish I hadn't.
I recently got a 4" 681 and I swear to God it was meant to be. I shot the 686 fine like all my other guns, but for some reason, in my hand, the 681 is a laser beam. Shotgun hulls at 10 yards were no problem. Head shots from the draw at 15 yards no problem. That gun would be the LAST I ever sell.
But other than a few plastic guns that fill a purpose, none are ever gonna be sold. My kids will get them, as is the way it should be.
