One in chamber at home?

Let me put this very simply, my doors are locked for their safety.

We do not have any kids in the house, but we have a dog that barks at everything, and I have two J Frames and a Glock G26 in my nightstand, all ready to go. The Glock goes out with the dog and I for our bedtime walk. By the way Glocks are as safe as any revolver with one in the chamber. They are a double action pull.
