This **** is getting addictive. What do I do now? 2 29-4 3" non-fluted.

Nice! I do have a question. What a good set of grips for recoil? I shot my new 69 the other day with full power .44mags and it hurted a bit.

For the M69 (and any round butt K, L, N X), the Hogue 500 X Frame Tamers (they are the ones that cover the backstrap) -- Available directly from Hogue now

X/Z-Frame Revolvers - Grips for Smith & Wesson - Handgun Grips - Hogue Products

you can also re contour them with a dremel sanding disc, belt sander, or sanding block.

Unaltered from factory -- Left 4 1/4" M69. Modified (rounded butt and removed finger groves) Center - 2 3/4"

FWIW,

FWIW,

Thanks, ordered a set.

I've reached the point where when I find a good gun that I shoot well, I buy a second one.
It will make it easier to thin the herd later. If I only have one...it goes.
Does that make at least a little sense?

Do a video of you shooting them both at the same time. Slow motion. That would be cool.
Full house magnums of course

I've tried it (without the video) with a pair of 38 Special J frames on falling plates at about 10 yards. Great fun. But it goes a lot better when Tom Cruise does it. (I think it would take more ammunition than is currently available for me to get reliably accurate with a pair of guns at the same time.)

Twin revolvers, eh? Only one thing to do, buy a very sturdy leather belt and holsters for left and right carry.

A very nice pair and if I found a second one at a decent price, I would buy it without hesitation! Mine was magna ported by the previous owner and has some honest wear. It is not a Lew Horton gun, according to the person with whom I spoke a couple of years ago.

The action is smooth and the accuracy well, its a S&W, need I say more?

RG,

I did notice that the cylinder releases on your two Mod. 29's are different. I wonder when that change snuck into the room?

This should take care of your problem. Just get a set of suspenders to help hold the pants up.
