I just found a stack of Mass. compliant . Shields for $200 each! About 10lb triggers, so they can't give them away around here. I'm thinking $200 and an Apex trigger kit. What do you think?

Tempting price, but the regular (undefiled) Shield 9's are routinely going for around $250 these days if you look around. Even with a transfer fee it's less than $200 + Apex.

PSA has them Shields for around $250 (with normal trigger) - would be cheaper than MA compliant + apex trigger. My 40 and 45 Shields were just fine right out of the box.

Yes, Palmetto has been running the $249 deal for at least a month. I bought my shield 4 or 5 years ago when they were pretty new to the scene. Paid a lot more then $249! I polished all contact points of the trigger components and added the Apex sear only. IMO that made it an excellent trigger.

I second the suggestion to look at Palmetto State Armory. They often have the first gen Shields for $250, and occasionally have the Shield 2.0 for just a little more. I got one last year when the 2.0 was one of their "daily deals."

Version one is on sale now for $249.99.

Edit: I tried to insert a link but it didn't work, so I removed it.
