I recently picked up the SW22 and want to run an optic on it. To start my budget needs to stay at or below $100. I'm open to either style of red dot but my son who is part owner prefers the reflex style. I would love to hear any and all opinions on what style and brand of optic you are running. It also doesn't have to be on the SW22. If you are running one on the Ruger MK series that's fine too. The more the merrier. TIA for your help.

The last one I tried was a Bushnell which was a lower end model but worked not too bad. Finally sold the gun and it went with it.

At the moment I am running a Bushnell TRS-25 (micro type red dot) on my SW22, very happy with the setup. I will eventually change it to a Burris Fastfire or Vortex Venom, just trying to figure out which one I like best.

I have a Burris FF3 on my Victory, love it and it is light (1.7 oz), BUT, is over your budget (they are usually $225+). However, on another of my target 22s I have the Bushnell TRS25 (Buckmark with a TacSol Trail-Lite barrel) and also like it very much. The only disadvantage for me is the weight, 3.7 oz. This would be immaterial to most everyone (but me), I tried this sight on the BM because with the TacSol barrel it is extremely light.

I would definitely recommend the TRS25! I forget what I paid, but around $100

These are good for your budget, look up Sightmark brand on Amazon. Not the best, but a decent budget sight. I started with one of these and have since moved up.
