I was trying to buy a used Shield 45ACP but the owner wanted way too much $$ for it and did not agree to my $$ bottom line.
So, what was I going to do?
I started hearing about this new CSX and Shield plus.
On paper I liked them both. I already have the Shield 9 M2.0 and it is my favorite micro.
After going to my LGS to check out a CSX I found that I didn't like the feel of it and their price was way more than I wanted to spend. Their price for the Shield Plus was almost as expensive as the CSX. Dang it all.
Then one of our fellow members here gave me a link to Gun Deals.
I found a good deal on a Shield Plus for $399.
I went for the shield because it is almost the same size as my 2.0 that I'm already use to but with a higher capacity.
I think I did good. Pics are soon to follow.

Odds are, it will be fine, but don't forget to do a thorough inspection on it before you finish the paperwork. Just because you ordered it, you're not obligated to accept it, should it be flawed. ;)

Congrats on finding a deal that fits your wallet. :)

Another victim! I too had a 2.0 9mm Shield that I was satisfied with. After the plus came out I spent a year debating on whether or not to get one. I came across the bug out bag special a few months ago in a LGS. 5 magazines and night sights in the kit pushed me over the edge. One of the best decisions I've made. Just as concealable IMO, and better ergonomics for me.

I have noticed on other firearm brand forums that a lot of people prefer the Shields for CC over other manufacturers.

And yet another sucked into the Shield+ vortex.
You're in good company...........
myself included...................:D
Thanks. When I got my 2.0, the Shield was the #1 pistol sold in the USA. I wouldn't be surprised the Shield Plus hits the #1 spot.

Thanks. I will give it a good once over.

I now own 3 each of the following:

Shield 9 2.0 with 4 standard mags with red extended pinky plates and 25 extended mags with red ndz mag plates.
Shield 40 2.0 with 3 standard mags with gold ndz pinky extensions and 20 extended mags with gold ndz magazine plates.
Shield 45 with 5 standard mags with ndz pinky ext in green & 30 extended with green ndz mag plates.
Shield Plus in 9mm, I have two of these, two because the wife stole one for herself. I have 2 10rd mags and 20 13rd mags.

For the Shield 9 I went with red aluminum baseplates to make it easy to distinguish 9mm mags from their 40 counterparts.
For the Shield 40 I went with ndz gold aluminum plates, once again to distinguish 40 from 9mm.
On the Shield 45, I really didn't need colored baseplates but to keep the theme going I went with deep green aluminum plates.

Interesting enough, on the extra mags, I've never purchased them new, they've all come from used magazine bins, flea markets, garage sales or very good online deals. Recently while in another forum I came across a gentleman who had 10 nib 7rd shield 45 mags, after a bit of haggling we agreed on 20 new Pachmyer sts 45acp mags in exchange, plus we settled on $450 for an old style gasoline pump globe from AGIP.

Add another one to the suckered in...
My my daughter and I were buying my son-in-law a shield Plus w/optic for his retirement after 32 years behind a badge, I thought what the heck.
So I came home with two. It doesn't matter that there's already two in the safe. Neither of those have optics. Will it ever end? I hope not!

I bought a few Shield Pluses when they had the $50 rebate. And coincidentally, one of their serial numbers starts with my three letter initials, so I'm destined to keep it forever.

A few???!!! $50 rebate sounds nice as well. Congratulations.
This is such a nice pistol with plenty of ammo in the mags.
