Iran and North Korea have a lot in common. They saber rattle, threaten, and on and on. Both nations are ruled by psychotics with death wishes and suicidal tendencies and has history has proven, these kinds of dictators like to take as many of their people with them as possible...all the while hiding in some spider hole a la Hitler, Saddam, and Muahmar.

From recent news reports it’s being suggested that most other U. S. Embassies and consulates in the Middle East may also be getting orders soon to pull out all their non-essential personnel. I wonder if the other countries are considering following suit? A good time and place to be considered as being non-essential.

FWIW, I think the Israeli strike will create leverage for the US as they attempt to negotiate monitoring and oversight designed to frustrate / delay Iran's quest for nuclear capability. I believe that Iran will use Nukes if they get the chance. They want us arguing over 1st world problems while they gain strength. Complacency will be our downfall.

Same thing happened with Saddam and his Nuke stuff. Israel took them out while everyone else was just talking. This will be no different. Iran fought Iraq and Saddam for years while using children to run through minefields. That war ended in a stalemate because neither country was strong enough to overpower the other. Iran is not that strong...unless the get enough nukes and missiles. Israel probably just set them back a few decades....hopefully.

I think most nuclear powers don't want to see more nations, whichever side they might claim to be on, get such weaponry. The world doesn't need more little crazy brothers play the game and even threaten so-called allies. I think China would abhor N. Korea get nukes and Russia deep down can't trust a Muslim nation such as Iran.
I wouldn't be surprised if Putin secretly is pulling for Israel's success in its strikes.Ditto Xi opposing N. Korea which might upset China's long term strategy by a rash act.
