Hello all, I have a k22 pistol in high grade and would like to find some original grips for it. It is a k22 smith and Wesson. serial number is k148XXX .22 long rifle. 6 inch barrel. side swing cylinder, with hand ejector, adjustable sight with side screw. grip has a strain screw. it is the 4 hole screw gun including the one in front of trigger guard. the grips on it now encase the whole butt of the grip area. I have to take the grips off to see the serial number. Where would be a good place to find some near mint grips for this pistol, and would the original grips make my pistol worth the most as a collector item? oh and there is no model number I can find. only a v2853 on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Welcome to the forum. You would get more traction in the 1896-1961 sub forum. but here is mine a little earlier than yours but grips would be the same. They are found on Ebay pretty easily. It wont make your gun worth anymore than it is now really. What type of grips are on it now pictures would help.

You may have diamond targets on it hard to tell from your description and they could be original. They would look like these.

I see sharp-shoulder K-frame magnas in good-great condition selling on eBay for $45 - $60 quite often. Be patient and watch for a few weeks and you can likely snag a set.
