Snatched up the doc and headed in early, around 10 this morning. I told him "expect a wait, it'll be mobbed." Not. Ghost town almost. New AR's budget style, $350. Several vendors. Problem is, outside AR 15's there's but a few 01 FFL's left. Prices all over the map: new 686+ 4" $650 OTD, same for 617's. Don't know the "-" #'s but they were made this year. Shields were $329 in various flavors. Only saw a few interesting S&W older models. There was a 15-2 for $375 but it was maybe 70%. None of the folks from even 5 years ago present. Even the folks from Sarasota I got the $220 Kahr P9 from in May were back with much higher prices. At least you can get through the entire show in an hour or so without saying "scuse me" once there's so much room. I don't know how many T shirts you need to sell to pay for the tables. We went down to the Academy in Kissimmee it was so early. The guns were cheaper there. I bought $7 in fishing tackle, would have been $30 in one of the shops on the coast. Still a nice way to spend a day in "warm paradise." Joe

Recently went to the large Gun Show here in West Palm. It was crowded enough, but there were so many Vendors that had nothing to do with firearms. Jewelry, jerky, art, etc. Was really a turn off. Walked away with no purchases.

This is the first one I've missed in years , I didn't want to be tempted . Been on a shopping spree lately , bought a M30-1 , 60 , 745 , 457S and a 4513TSW . I'd be living in a tent outside if I went . Seeing as how you live here , you know what that would be like .
