Loaded up the crew and headed north (20mi). Got there right at opening and quiet is an understatement. No line and I think L.E. (4 agencies counting the ATF) outnumbered the patrons. Saw quite a few Smiths but prices were mathematically challenging. A nice snubby 19-3 for $850. Same guy had a decent 29-3 for $800. Poor old fella was toting them when I left 4 hours later. Didn't see a S&W on a table for less than $550 but I wasn't looking too carefully. The "crew" bought a Glock 27, a Kahr PM 40 and a sub-compact .380 for a total of $1300 OTD which I thought was a pretty fair hunker-dicker package deal. The dealer was happy as that was probably the most cash he saw up to that point. Lots of folks toting Garands, Enfields, M1 carbines, Mausers, and some downright weird antiques, none of which I can speculate a fair value. There were a set of blonde twins at an entry table that caused a fantasy that was worth the admission price. All in all a good show even though I didn't buy a thing. Joe
