Our guiding light through the pandemic...

...is a dog! Meet "Booger," a little stray we adopted as a puppy a couple of years ago. This Covid-19 pandemic with its almost mandatory sequestration would have driven my wife and I almost nutz if it were not for this little dog. Her unfailingly cheerful attitude and funny antics have diverted our attention away from problems now for quite a few months. I suspect many of you have had similar experiences with your pets.

I took this picture today after my wife trimmed some wild hairs away from her eyes so that she could see better through her shrubbery! Her "nest" is a couch she's appropriated as a base of operations, with all her toys nearby.

Here's a hand salute to our furry friends. Where would we ever be without them?

We are blessed to have 3 grand dogs!! Just like the grandkids, we spoil them and love like they are our own dogs. BUT we get to send them home and have some time to travel, etc. When home we have one of them here almost every day at least for awhile!!

Gotta love that face. Our boyz are a great comfort and source of much entertainment during these long days and nights of reduced outside activities.

My wife said she's been very happy working from home. I thought it might be that we can spend more time together.
Wrong. She said she was jealous of me being home with our dogs every day while she had to go to work.
Oh well, they are a constant form of entertainment for both of us.

The pandemic was the best thing that ever happened to our 2yr old GShepherd... both his best buds (the kids) have been home all day every day since April...now they only go to school 2 days a week...Pup is loving it!!
