Thank you for your perspective, sir. I don't have time to look them up, but in a series of very inspiring threads awhile back, one of our member LEOs, Mr. Faulkner, did just as you said, and turned a seriously anti-gun couple around. They had moved to Arkansas from a very anti-gun area, and complained to him in a restaurant about the patrons carrying. He proceeded to educate them, even taking them to a CCW class he helped teach, and between him and the sheriff, they led the couple to see their error and change their view. I don't remember all the details, but the situation was similar to the one discussed here.
Though there are indeed many folks who would respond as Protected One has suggested, there are others who will respond positively, if we handle the situation properly.
