NO Offense meant but that rubs me wrong. Reminds me of a good friend of mine who grew up poor, then got educated, had good jobs and made good money. But could not shake his childhood and not having money.
There were several things in life he liked to do. One of them trapshooting and the other rebuild old cars. and he was a hell of a mechanic too.
He ALWAYS talked himself out of getting that car, or taking a weekend to go to that shoot. Always "Too much money". Twenty years back he died of an aggressive cancer...on his deathbed he sure as hell didn't talk about all the money his widow got. He cried about the things he NEVER DID.
To me one can take being frugal too far. Life is short. Enjoy it.
You want a gun, or a bike,or a fishing rod or whatever....buy it.
Again.....I'm not trying to be argumentative...your post simply reminded me of Paul.
