OWB holster recommendations for full-size M&P9 M2.0?

Galco. I've been using Galco for 20 years.

As have I, not quite 20 years though. CON472 for my 4-4.25 M&Ps. Comfortable, works fine for me. Never felt the need to try anything else. I also have a Galco V-hawk IWB that I also like. Maybe I'm missing something. A good belt is required for any of them.

I checked out the websites for all of the OWB holsters recommended by forum members here, and to my surprise, I'm liking the Alien Gear Cloak Mod OWB @ $47.88 plus shipping.

I like the Alien Gear Cloak Mod OWB because: 1) it includes paddle AND belt loop mounting hardware, 2) the warranty isn't too shabby, and 3) it was included on search lists for "best OWB holsters" in the past year.

Anyone here using one?

No offense my friend, I really like the Alien Gear products, but the Cloak Mod is the one thing they have I avoid. I had one and wasn't happy with it at all. It's the only one of their products I've returned. Used as a paddle holster it's not bad. I found as a belt slide, the portion that attaches to the belt is too narrow, allowing the holster to flop around and not snug up to my side as tight as I would like. Their Cloak Slide OWB holster has belt attachments that are far enough apart to provide a good snug fit, the Cloak Mod belt attachment is only about 1 1/2" to 2" wide. Give her a try, you've got 30 days anyway, and if you don't like it, send it back, no harm no foul. JMHO

Just plan on buying more than one. Most people have a drawer full they didn't like for various reasons.

Cooks Holsters down in GA. Mine is the comfort holster for the M&P 9 M2.0 with the 3.6" barrel, OWB.
I've had my holster from them for 2 weeks now. Worn it for a few hours every day and can't find anything wrong with it. Very good retention, smooth edges, excellent gun fit. Good web site, and friendly to talk to.

I buy a Remora holster for my guns. IWB no belt required. I store them in there when in the safe. I use leather pancake holsters for OWB. Galco is good.
