p-22 front site falling of

a friend at work has a S@W - -Walther p-22 .22 auto ,i havnt seen it and dont know anything a bout it ,he asked me to find some info about it for him .It has a plastic front site and it keeps falling off ,he wants to put super glue in it to hold it in .Would it be better to get a knew front site? and how is the site orginaly held in the slide?best way to fix is what iam looking for, thank you

They were shipped with three sights and a filler plug. The idea was to adjust for elevation. If he has replaced it in and out very much it's not going to stay. He should be able to get S&W to send him some replacemants, find the one that suits his ammo and leave it in.
