Pachmayr Compact N Frame Rd Butt Question

Hello

I recently purchased a NIB Pachmayr Compact N Frame Rd Butt Grip for my 29-3.

The Pachmayr's fit terribly! I have never had this issue before - has anyone else?

Is it because the grips are vintage and they have lost flexibility over the years?

Are they available (newly manufactured)?

They really help take the bite out of the 29-3 snub - I would like to have a set that fit though ...

They do soak up the recoil. I have never had a problem with fitting but, I've seen some that didn't seem to fit. Yes, they still make them, here is a link.Compac Grips S&W N-Frame Round Butt Rubber Black

Is your 29-3 a square but? All of mine are.
