Pre Zip Code would be 1962 or earlier. As noted by other great buy ! Based on the tag pre zip code so fantastic shape for its age. Use it in good health!
Need a picture...........Mine came from an Army team shooter Maj Hank Byers. $500 for the whole thing had the scope on the lid and a hole .38? through one of the dividers in the tray. Oh and in the tray was an F.Bob Chow 1911 and an under 5,000 model 41. Some people just went crazy when they saw that box. It was so handy. Took 10 men and a small horse to lug it around.
I have one in a gray material I actually use for Bullseye they can get heavy but are great boxes. That was a smoking good price!I found this in a thrift shop for 10 bucks plus tax. It’s in like new condition. View attachment 774013
Yep always that "guy" holding us up !!Oh boy! Feels like old home week! i had the magnetic rack and the aluminum gizmo. Bushnell spotting scope (much later in life) I left out the High Standard Military, and the K-38. Used the Python for slow fire, then switched to the Smith for timed and rapid due to the shorter hammer pull. Chalk to outline your feet for natural point of aim. Pre loading the mags so you didn't get jittery. Remember men, the line can only go as fast as the slowest shooter. There was always that ONE guy who couldn't load the last few rounds in the mag, and we waited and waited. Anybody else remember? Austin Behlert would be at the match fine tuning and fixing problems.
