Why would you want to your gun off?
Do you use a method for keep the Fobus from scratches the weapon ?I'm a long time fan of Fobus paddle-style holsters. I have one that was included with a used G48, and I've found that if I put it over on my left side ( crossdraw), I barely notice it when sitting in the driver seat ( on my normal right hip, pressure on the butt-end from the seat makes it very noticeable and uncomfortable ).
Also, since I've always been very leery of a loaded/chambered Glock ( no lectures, please) , I pretty much leave the pistol in its holster, which I can easily and safely put on, or remove, as needed.
Them being relatively economical is a bonus. Win-win, IMO.
No, but as I mentioned, it pretty much stays in the holster, so there's no daily insertion/removal taking place.Do you use a method for keep the Fobus from scratches the weapon ?
Well, I can see a situation where you are going to the bad side of town to buy some dope and then you stop by the Post Office on the way back home. Of course in that situation I would always just keep the empty holster on, going into the Post Office, and stow my piece under the seat. Why would you want to your gun off?
