I stopped by Palmetto State a couple weeks ago to talk to their attorney, John. He told me that they’re regularly used as part of a scam. Usually going out of business sales.

The fact that they accepted paypal for ammunition sales is the second clue.

But, contact Paypal. File a report. If your transaction was for “goods and services” you might be covered!

I don’t think PayPal offers any protection for anything firearms related. Probably why the use PayPal for payment.

A friend of mine just got ripped off for a couple hundred bucks. Ironically, he tried to call me before ordering to share in his "great deal" but I missed the call... and would have warned him off, as I already knew it was a scam.

Took at glance at that web site and yeah crazy prices but will say they did a very good job on the web site and can see how people can easily be fooled.
Thieves are getting better each year and with AI its only going to get worse.

Yes, you got scammed. There's no "over 18" validation and the hours of operation don't jive with the real site. The real site also has their own contact us form, not an email address.

In addition to the Easter eggs in the logo, there's a space missing after a comma and it says "Recommend for you" instead of "Recommended for you". The prices are beyond ridiculous; I was paying more for .22 LR ammunition in 1964.

Guess I’m lucky as there is a PSA close to Savannah about 6-7 miles off I-95. Headed there this Thursday and they have the Best ammo prices for a walk in business.

Well I got lucky. I filed a complaint with Paypal and they responded by giving me a refund. They said I will receive the refund in 3 -5 business days.

Needless to say I feel very foolish for falling for such obvious scam.
