I don't know it offhand, but I'm sure someone will . You can always go to the Numeric sight , they have diagrams, breakdowns , of most of the S&W semi autos .

Notable thread listing here in the Gunsmithing section, has the part numbers for all of the magazine components. But no part number for the complete magazine.
Someone will be along soon with the PN.

Related to this thread for magazine P/Ns' but not for 45s'. I looked over my 'stash' of still packaged magazines.

190700000 - 9mm 3913/908 8rd curved base plate
192690000 - 9mm 3913TSW 7rd single stack
190550000 - 9mm 69series 10rd
190590000 - 9mm 59series 10rd
192770000 - CS40
192830000 - 4040PD
191950000 - 4013TSW double stack 9rd PC logo imprinted
190790000 - 40 double stack 10rd
190760000 - 10mm

There have been many variations of 8rd and 7rd magazines based upon the follower color. Seems like the 4516s' had the most varieties.

Am I remembering wrong - I thought I remembered there were 3 variations of mags for 4506 and not all interchangeable - I think I have 1 marked 4506-1 only somewhere in a drawer.

I have a 1991 4567, not my first S&W semi (started with a 59 in 1978). I have mags with both the yellow and black followers. If memory serves the orange followers were the first version. The two types I have are 100% compatible with this pistol. It was a follower issue but some mags are marked to use only the yellow follower.

Shouldn't have any issues on a 4506-same receiver.

The orange follower magazine pictured is one from my 645. The black follower mag is original from my 4506-1 but obviously I don't follow directions all the time.

Notice the indentations at the top on the ones that say must a yellow follower. I don't have any others that have this.

I have found that replacing the followers in single stack 4500 magazines with the latest black plastic followers makes any marking about "only" total nonsense. They all work perfectly, in my experience, with that follower installed.

^^^ that. Sequence;red - yellow - black. The yellow is just like the black and at the time of the yellows, the black had not been created yet.
Has the recess along the back left edge for compatability with magazines that have the vertical cartridge-holding indentation. And the back right edge has also been changed/improved.

THAT is exactly what I was wondering about, the vertical indentations and not the color of the followers. I've saved one magazine w/yellow follower only/indentations for an example and have given the other replaced yellow followers to members here that wanted them. I did not need them as all my other yellow followers were changed to black when I put new springs in them.

Thanks again "oldman10mm". I/we appreciate your input not to mention your offerings. Especially ALL those 6rnd 45TSW mag bases I got from you. They are perfect for me on my CS45 & 40 magazines. ;)
