Just read this.
I do not watch many You Tube gun stuff but have seen a few of his. He does a really good job and much better than most of the Bozos out there,

He says good by due to illness, sad to hear and does it in a professional way. Also introduces his brother who will be taking over the channel.

If you do not like him, save it,

Sad indeed.

There is a multitude self-important yet clueless bozos and tacti-fools on YouTube. Paul Harrell is not one of them, he is a gem. He doesn't pretend to be something he isn't, yet is obviously accomplished at shooting and knowledgeable of technique.

Since revealing his diagnosis six months ago, he has been continually upbeat, and persevering through pain and disability, putting out good content and information.

An archive of his content would answer 90% of anyone's questions about guns, ammo and shooting, in a self-effacing and entertaining way.

I hope he beats this.

Always enjoyed speed watching his video's. Hope he does well!

This is not good. He is a great guy, I have met him several times at gun shows. He brings 2 tables full of guns, not to sell, but so folks can handle them to help them decide which guns to buy. Please pray for him.

Paul is one of my favorite gun gurus of all time. There's always been a bit mystery to him and the first video posted above is in-sync with that. I thought I had an "interesting" practice wife but apparently I'm bush league.

Over the years he's related some interesting situations and had his share of bumps along the way. He's an Army veteran and has won many shooting competitions - great shot. Always seemed like a guy you'd be very happy about having your back in a tough situation. I admire his style.

He will be in my prayers.

I enjoyed his post and I think he is half duck, since a rain storm did not stop him from finishing his testings, which was many, in his area, over the years, of shows that he did.

He did not pull any punches, either.

You found out if the ammo or guns were good or not and he left his finding
up to you, most of the time.

He sure knows how to make a pork rib section and a bag of oranges, cry "Uncle" !!

I wish him well.

I haven’t watched him in a few months, so I’m just learning of this. Terrible news. I really enjoy his videos. May you find comfort, Paul, God bless and God speed.

I've enjoyed his offerings It's a shame but anyone putting themselves "out there" whether for gun advice/commentary, musicians, any kind of artisans . . . the 'net unfortunately affords every egomaniacal doofus with personality complexes and over sized egos to 'share their brilliance and expertise' to tear down others that have, just by doing, surpassed their detractors. Basement keyboard commandos and tough guys. You may have the best restaurant in town, but by it's very presence and what it is it tends to draw vermin around the edges.

Pancreatic cancer in my experience with friends and acquaintances is a hard way to go. Godspeed and comfort Paul - you will be remembered and missed by more than just your own.

Dang. I hadn't heard of Paul's condition. I don't listen to him religiously, but always check him out on topics or certain firearms that I find interesting...and he has always been through, informative, and interesting. I have also been impressed that he's not one of those guys that claims his way is always right. He shows the evidence and then lets you decide.

Sad news indeed.

This sucks so bad. Was going to meet up with him at the show in March. He is not only a US Army vet, but a USMC vet as well. Will send him an E mail tonight. Please pray for him.
