Paul Harrell is "signing off"

I normally watch him regularly as long as he is doing a subject I am interested in. I haven't watch many gun channels as of late as they are mostly just inexperienced guys looking to start a Youtube channel and hard to learn something new from. Other channels like Hickok45 were descent, but even he is now rehashing stuff over and over and over. There are only so many 2 liter's I can watch get shot - lol. I do watch HR Funk from time to time depending in the subject at hand that day.

Paul's channel has done some interesting true life testing that many here are actually interested in. I like his dry sense of humor, facial and hand expressions. While he was sometimes a little pompous, he was 98% down to earth, honest and sincere. Overall, I think he has one of the better Gun Channels and always came up with new material for testing.

Pancreatic Cancer is as serious as it gets and I believe he is pretty much at the end of the road making videos. We might see him in one or two more video's - if that. I wish him Godspeed and a painless exit. Truly sad to see someone only 57 years old with a zest for life and so into physical fitness go down so hard and so fast. As we all know, life is just not fair! He will be missed.

So sorry to hear about Paul's struggle with pancreatic cancer. Pancreatic cancer is very bad. Especially if there is no surgical option remaining. I have appreciated and enjoyed Paul's informative videos for years and unlike many other "influencers" Paul has offered solid advice over many years.

We pray for Paul and his family.

We are all here for such a short time.. some shorter than others.. Godspeed Paul.

Mr. Paul is perhaps the best of YouTube gun guys. His presentations are always informative yet with a sense of humor. Watching his videos are like learning from an experienced uncle or old pro at the gun club. So many channels are overly "tactical" or just the same videos of shooting at targets in the yard. With Paul, I can say I learned something new from every video.

One of my favorite videos of his is his presentation about the 1986 Miami FBI shootout. Rather than focus on auto versus revolver or caliber wars, he basically said never bring handguns to a rifle fight!

Paul posted this 6 months ago:
Some people have erroneously posted on line that I'm "stage four" I am NOT. It was caught very early and I'm going to be here for a long time. I posted this video for two reasons: 1) to head off comments telling me I look tired/bad/etc. 2) to get out in front of the lies stalkers will tell.
