It's likely a scam, and scammers depend on you engaging with them.
They are after your e-mail, then if you claim the money they will dispute it in one way or another and ask for it back, hoping to harvest your info in some way.
Paypal is supposed to isolate your details from the other party but who knows whether there's a new way for crooks to harvest your data....
As others have said, just ignore the funds for as long as it takes for PayPal to sort it.
I've used PayPal for 20 years and never had an issue that they didn't resolve, always fairly. I have no problems using them or recommending them, much better than sharing CC details.
