PC 5906 IDPA Edition Odd Duck

I am posting here for input on a PC 5906 IDPA Edition 4".

I own this pistol as a 2nd owner. no case no paper.
I also own a 4" and the 5" PC 5906 IDPA Editions.

The one I am asking about will be up for sale. Health and retirement is requiring some sales.

This is an interesting pistol as I cannot really pinpoint an exact description from the 4th gen smith bible.

This is DPA 0270 stainless steel slide with aluminum frame decock only. this is built just like my 4" 5906 dpa but my shooter is all stainless with drop safety. I think this pistol is mismarked from the factory. a description is on the pc semi auto list but no numbers of production . I think it should be a mod 6903 on the fame but it is stamped mod 5906. this will be posted for sale but i know my pc's so no no low balls.

all of your thoughts please. i call the pistol a rock solid 99%

It should be marked 5903 if it is definitely alloy frame, and I have heard that these exist.

I believe if you were send S&W an e-mail, ask specifically for a ship date but also ask for a product code/SKU, that four digit product code can help us nail down exactly what it is.
