After cleaning my new PC 686 Plus after shooting it each time I am now seeing these stains around the forcing cone . Never had an unpolished stainless steel finish before . Is this normal to have these stains ? I'm thinking because the stainless is not polished it stains easier.. Is this normal?

Yes, quite normal.
I'm not sure what products and methods you're using to clean your revolver. Some of us are more diligent than others in removing all traces of prior firing stains and fouling. If you don't like it, scrub it until you do.

As I'm not a specialist and ry to learn every day..
I normaly polish this with a Dremel , and some Mothers mag& Aluminium Polish, and after that i clean this with some LCP..
This is what I do... But if some guys thing it is not a good idea..I'm always happy to learn Bethe , so Please.. Tell me what is the best whey to take of these carbon traces..Thanks , The Pinguino.

It's normal and cosmetic. Don't obsess about it or become of of those guys who thinks their gun is a fashion accessory. It's not that serious.

Thank you to all who looked and responded. I clean the barrel using a bore snake and Ballistol . The cylinder I clean with a cleaning rod with a bore brush and Hoppes No 9 followed by patches. I am only shooting 38Special hand loads so I am very diligent in getting the cylinder very clean. I will follow your advice and enjoy shooting it and not worry about these forcing cone stains ..
