I was able to use quite a nice piece of land today. Hunted beaver with an M&P R8, but was also aware the area is notorious for snakes and rodents. So I included the 627 UDR with CCI snake shot.

I didn't know what to expect comfort-wise wearing two guns and I have to comment that with the Galco belt both 8 Shot N Frames carried easily and were comfortable across a considerable distance in the heat.

Female coyote had a big surprise as Moses and Thor are huge. "No chase!" I yelled stepping in front of Moses the leader. Actually worked.

That's a great way to spend a hot Alabama day. Good looking pair of dogs you have too!! Any luck with those pesky beavers?

Had a 60-75 yard slow moving head shot, so freehand without optics no way to take that. I'll be back out later this afternoon.

Thanks, Moses and Thor make the recently empty nest bearable.

If Moses (pictured by himself) gets too far away he will come to the report of my .357 and Thor has picked that up from him. I always have a moonclip of the Remington .357 Magnum he trained on. Don't know if another ammo brand would matter. They both wear Whistle 3 GPS as a back-up.
