PC upper/barrel

just wondering is there and way to buy just the PC barrel or complete upper with the PC barrel ive called s&w customer service but couldnt get a straight answer does anybody know or has anybody done this?????

i may be wrong so someone correct me if i am.. but from my understanding is that no unless there is a problem with it and you have a PC to begin with... a member had them ship a blank upper and they told em to just swap out parts.
