We are going to be in Pensacola for a few days and we need some info. We will be looking for a good sea food restaurant. We are probably a little early for the season but we'll take what's there. Can anyone make suggestions where to go. Thanks

By all means go by the Naval Aviation History Museum...it is free and practically an all day tour. They have one of virtually every Naval Aircraft that has ever flown...Inside and outside viewing.

Any tourist info station or practically anyone on the street can tell you how to get to it.

We have eaten at this place several times near downtown overlooking a marina on the bay the food was good,, nice atmosphere, moderately priced

Another is Joe Patti's interesting right next to a huge seafood market but very informal food was good.
If you drive out to Santa Rosa Island coming off the bridge there are several Hemmingway's is good but pricy.
Flounders is next door but I haven't tried it.
You can check reviews on the internet.

Joe Patties, and also Landry's.... landry's is a bit more upscale.... the museum is a must if you are into museums/planes... it is WAY impressive!!! Eglin AFB has an air armament museum thats free also, it is nice, but pales in comparison to the navy museum... and its 40 miles east in ft walton....

If you want some shooting, try Santa Rosa Shooting Center, its a nice place and decently priced (outdoor).

Too cold for the stupid beach, but nice time to walk them... there are miles of very sparsely populated beach (no houses at all) between Pensacola beach and Navarre to the east... just be warned there is NOTHING on that 15 mile stretch of road.... bring water and gas LOL....

Flounders is always quite good, across the street from Pensacola Beach. Northeast of the beachball water tower.

The Blues practice on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Get to the NAS at 10:00 AM. They usually start around 10:15AM.

Yes, the Naval Aviation museum is worth the trip. It's on the Navel Base so leave your guns back at the condo. Ask me how I know

Boy!! I'd sure like to see that. And I wouldn't forget my camera, either.

We will be on our way in the morning. Thanks for the info. We are looking forward to our visit.
