I have to admit that 44 Mag and 45 Colt ( although those revolvers are of the non S&W flavor) are my two favorite calibers, but the two tone 8 shot moon clipped 627 PC was just too much for me to resist.

I was actually in the market for a Model 69 when I stumbled into this 627.

Okay I will play. Here are my three PC guns. Out of the 12 or so S&W revolvers I own, no coincidence these are my favorites and the 3 guns I carry most (well I just picked up the 627, but it is going right in the carry rotation when one of the two holsters I ordered shows up tomorrow).

It took me a long time to warm up to modern S&W's. My two PC revolvers:

The Magnum Hunter screamed at me when I saw CWH44300's post after he bought his. Thanks Chris!! I resisted for awhile but finally caved and glad I did. I've started putting the gun to work shooting steel critters and met some awfully nice folks in the mean time. I can see another PC 629 in my future. BTW iron worker, have you stepped outside and shot yours yet??

What is the model number of that fine looking wheel gun? First three of serial number as well? I'm trying to figure out the history on one I just acquired -- a 686-3 Performance Center with first three of serial number being PCM. Thx.
