I bought a 629 Hunter second hand. It suffers from light primer strikes. I know about the strain screw….
I returned the revolver to the Performance Center and have received an email that it was received. I do not want to bother them or push them but I am wondering how long I can expect to wait. I feel a call to them would be needlessly pushing them
Any experiences?
Thanks

I just received a letter from them. Nice to know what is going on
I expected a phone call

5 weeks is the answer for me
I was incredibly disappointed that they did not call me before the repair or before shipping. I travel for my job and received a text from FedEx saying that they tried to deliver but I was not home after that. They try a second time then they hold it at their facility for two days. I ended up changing my work week to get home in time to pick it up on the second day of being held, otherwise I have no idea what battles I would be fighting.

I recently inquired about changing a steel cylinder with a titanium one. The girl I spoke to told me it would take about 5 months to get it back. She also said the performance center has only 5 gunsmiths ……4 work on repairs and one does modifications and that is why it takes so long
