I have loved this gun since came out wondering are worth the price they are asking. Seen two @ $1350 last weekend at show. Also wondering how many do they make and will they go up in value.

SKU #170343. 1350 is about the going price from dealers for NIB. Not sure of production numbers. This is a target model with the large adjustable rear sight. The performance pistols seem to come off their value 10-20% once purchased. and of course it all depends on the condition for a used one. Still a real beauty!

I have one and it shoots great! The only thing I changed on it were those grips - I have more conservative tastes and am a sucker for nice wood - and removed the black coating from the barrel hood. It became scuffed, a normal 1911 condition, and didn't look good like that.

I also have the E-Series Sc gun and think all it needs is a magazine well like the PC gun's.

With the wood grips and the hood polished you got one great looking PC Ed. Thanks for the pics and info.

Amen, gatorfreak. I've been wanting one for quite a while, too. I just don't have the money now.

These are a bargain at that price. I have one and it is accurate as all hell. I have read posts where others are saying it's comparable to a $2000 gun.

Picked mine up today. Couldn't resist any longer.

With a strip of 320-grit emery cloth followed by a strip of 2000-grit. If you want a "brushed" finish, don't use the 2000-grit as it polishes the 320-grit's fine scratches from the metal. Removing the coating without chemicals leaves the "45 AUTO PC" lettering filled with the black coating which looks kind of cool.
